Abudu: In quest for boosting the Local Government's internally generated revenue which has drastically dropped to a discouraging level, the Legislative Arm of the Council led by the indefatigable Speaker, Hon. Tony Ogbezuwa and the Majority Leader, Hon. Hope Enogieru led the entire Councillors to Evboesi Market in pursuance to the zeal and vigour to restore and increase the council's revenue, as they monitored the collections amicably.
The Councillors after succesfully monitoring the collection exercise at Evboesi market in Orhionmwon Local Government Area remarked that there is an urgent need to restructure the modus operandi of the collection exercise.
They however promised to work in synergy with the Council by observing and checkmating the irregularities perpetrated by some unscrupulous Revenue Enforcemnent Officers, who are not after the growth of the council. They however said the monitory will no doubt invite sanity and seriousness in delivering the task ahead, as they are set to receive good news in the revenue collection.
The Speaker of the House, Hon. Tony Ogbezuwa craved the indulgence of the traders in Orhionmwon to comply accurately, adding that it is the duty of the Citizens to abide by the law governing the mileu, as he assures them that the end product of providing a compeling revenue is equally the delivering of absolute development to the council.
He further commended the Council Boss, Hon. Sylvester Okoro for his meticulous approach so far and assured him of formidable coporations from the angle of the legislative arm. In his word,

The Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Hope Enogieru added that law making business is not complete without attracting development to the council. He further said no council testifies of gigantic development in the absence of revenue. In his word,

Other councillors who climaxed the same journey assured the people of Orhionmwon steady development as they lauds the Council Chairman, Hon. Sylvester Okoro and the State Governor, Mr. Nogheghase Obaseki for their meticulous approach to the collection of revenue in the state
