ME: What will you describe 2017 to be?

LUIS: I think it was good Musically for all those who dropped some music this year ..

I did listen to some awesome music and some not so awesome music this year sadly

But in all it was a good one..

Massive Shout out to those who put in work this year into making good music ( speaking about music generally )

Me: We noticed you didn't drop any hit this year, and we also observed that a portion of your fans weren't happy about it. What's your take on that?

Luis: Yeah and I am sincerely sorry for that to all my fans though I knew I might not Drop any song this year hence I dropped two singles last year #heunderstands and #behappy as opposed to one single a year I have been doing for the last 5 years

Thing is this year was super busy and I had a lot to handle so I could not really get into my music self to dish out anything and I didn't want to force it and end up putting out materials I won't be proud of

Music for me is very spiritual and so it had to come naturally.. If I don't feel like then I won't do it..

When I feel like I do it and it is always amazing because I am certain my fans enjoy all the songs I put out due to how much time resources and energy i put into making it quality and worth their while..

I also may not be able to guarantee that I will drop some new music next year but I will try because I really do not want to keep them waiting for too long as I know they deserve to hear some music from me after 1 year of dropping nothing new

Luis: Let me add that I didn't just keep mute this year..

I did drop a song I featured on though..

What's your musical genre?

Luis: RnB / Afro soul

Me: You wouldn't want to be called a gospel musician?

Luis: I am not a gospel musician

I am a musician who make music

Music could be about Jesus and his messages as it is in the word and how I understand it... Y'all call it gospel

Music could be about life... Y'all call it secular sadly

It could be about how much I have been hurt by a lady

It could also be about my view on love etc

Luis: It's just that I am yet to make music outside the view of Jesus hence y'all say I am a gospel musician but I am. Not

I'd rather be called a musician..

Music is wild and I do not like to be kept in a box

Me: Lastly, if music doesn't fetch income do you have alternative?

Luis: Well music isn't something I do for income...

I just do it for the gift I have been given.. The message I have to pass and for the love

I make money from other stuff not music...

 If along the line money comes great if not...

I'm glad I do not depend on it to eat..

I once did that while in university and it certainly wasn't pleasant at all trust me..
